YOUR PRIVACY, A SACRED TRUST

To guard against identity theft, data leaks and unauthorised scraping, all biographical records are collected, handled and shared strictly through private, non-public channels. The website profile form is designed only to initiate a private conversation. It does not create a public client profile, a directory entry, or a public-facing family record.

• Encrypted WhatsApp Liaison
  Initial consultation, biodata sharing and family coordination take place through our verified WhatsApp terminal at +92 320 123 1111. WhatsApp applies end-to-end encryption to message content in transit, meaning the contents of your messages are readable only on your device and ours.
• Private Corporate Email
  Formal documentation and credentials stay within our corporate email environment, accessible only to authorised consultants. Correspondence sent to info@aslirishta.pk is opened and handled by those consultants alone.
• Senior Consultants Only
  Every piece of family information is read and matched by named senior consultants. We do not use automated matchmaking engines, chatbots, or profile-recommendation systems to process your file.
• What We Are Honest About
  WhatsApp and email are operated by outside companies. We control how we use them and who on our side may read your messages; we do not control their underlying infrastructure. If you would prefer to share particularly sensitive details by voice call or in person at our Lahore office instead, simply tell your consultant.

We collect only the minimum biographical detail needed to conduct careful, manual matchmaking on your behalf. Nothing beyond what the introduction process genuinely requires is requested or retained.

What we typically record: family background, sect and caste where a family chooses to state them, city and residential status (Pakistan or overseas), education, profession, marital history where relevant, and the partner criteria your family communicates to the consultant. Photographs are held only when you provide them, and are shared only as described in Section 04.

What we do not collect: health or medical records, immigration files, property valuations, salary slips, or detailed financial statements. We do not require digital copies of CNIC, passport, or other identity documents. If a consultant ever needs to sight a document for verification, it is viewed and returned — not copied into our archive.

A rishta file may only be opened for an adult of legal marriageable age. We do not knowingly open files, collect biodata, or arrange introductions for minors, and any such file discovered is closed and erased immediately.

Details such as sect, caste, biradari and family background are recorded only when your family volunteers them, because they are matters many families consider private. You may decline to state any of them, and your consultant will note the omission rather than press the question.

If you share information about a third person — a sibling's profession, a relative's contact number — you confirm that person is comfortable with it being shared. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, in whole or in part, by telling your consultant. Withdrawing consent stops further sharing immediately and can be followed by a full erasure request under Section 08.

Your family profile is not published on our website, not listed in any directory, and not uploaded to any matrimonial application or open matrimonial platform. Because nothing is published, there is no public client profile for anyone to access.

No photograph, personal description, educational detail or contact number belonging to a registered family is ever placed in:

• WhatsApp broadcast lists or group chats of any size
• Social media pages, posts or stories on any platform
• Third-party matrimonial websites, apps or aggregators
• Any online directory, listing or publicly accessible database
• The hands of any unverified family or unregistered party
• Advertising networks, data brokers, or any commercial buyer — we do not sell, rent or trade client information under any circumstance

We would rather be precise than impressive here, so this section explains exactly what happens when you visit aslirishta.pk.

What we deliberately do not use: no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing tags, no behavioural analytics, no cross-site advertising cookies, and no profiling tools that follow you to other websites. We do not build an advertising profile of you and we do not retarget visitors with ads.

Any cookie set on our site is essential to the page functioning. Browsing our website does not register you, does not open a file, and does not add you to any list. A file exists only once you contact a consultant and ask for one.

Your file is held in a restricted internal archive that is not connected to the public website and not reachable from the internet at large.

• Need-to-Know Access
  Only the senior consultants actively working on your matchmaking may open your file. Administrative and support staff do not have access to biodata, photographs, or family details.
• Protected Devices
  Consultant devices used for client liaison are passcode-protected and encrypted, and are used for client work only. Access is revoked and devices are cleared the day a consultant leaves the firm.
• Binding Confidentiality
  Every consultant signs a confidentiality undertaking that survives the end of their employment. Discussing a client family outside the office is treated as a terminable breach.
• If Something Goes Wrong
  No organisation can promise a system will never be compromised, and we will not make that promise. What we do commit to: if an incident affects your file, we contact you directly on your registered channel, tell you what was affected, and tell you what we are doing about it — promptly and without waiting to be asked.

We hold your records only while there is a reason to hold them.

• While your search is active
  Your file remains open and in use for as long as you are engaged with us.
• If your file goes quiet
  Where there has been no contact for twenty-four months, we write once to your registered number or email. If we receive no reply within thirty days, the file is closed and erased.
• After a successful rishta
  We retain the file for twelve months in case the families wish to return to us, then erase it — or sooner, the moment you ask.

Your family's information is held on trust, and that trust is yours to withdraw. At any moment you may ask us to permanently erase your profile, biodata sheets, photographs and message history. This right does not expire, requires no justification, and carries no charge.

Two things we would rather you hear from us than discover later. First, encrypted routine backups are overwritten on a rolling cycle, so a residual copy may persist for up to thirty days after erasure; it is never restored to active use and is never consulted for matchmaking. Second, message threads on your own phone remain under your control — we delete our copies, and you may delete yours whenever you choose.

You may also make narrower requests: ask us to correct a detail, remove only your photographs, pause your file without erasing it, or stop sharing your profile with new families while keeping existing conversations open. Simply tell your consultant which.

We are engaged by many Pakistani families settled abroad. Our office, our consultants and our archives are all located in Lahore, Pakistan, which means your family's records are held and handled in Pakistan regardless of where you live. By opening a file with us, you understand and accept this.

Every protection described in this document applies identically to overseas families — the same restrictions on display and sharing, the same consultant-only access, the same retention limits, and the same unconditional right to erasure, exercised the same way and within the same 7 working days.

By opening a consultation with Asli Rishta Pakistan through WhatsApp or email, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy & Discretion Policy and agree to the handling described in it.

We are responsible for what happens to your information inside our care. We cannot be responsible for information you share outside our channels — profile details posted on personal social media, biodata forwarded to acquaintances, or documents sent through unsecured third-party services. Nor can we be responsible for what another family does with details you have expressly consented to share with them; introductions are made in good faith between families, and discretion beyond that point is a matter of mutual trust.

This policy is reviewed periodically, and the current version always appears on this page with its revision date at the top. If we make a change that materially affects how your information is handled, we will tell registered families directly on their registered channel rather than relying on a quiet update.
